On October 27th. 2006 Pheasants Forever Chapter 467 (with the Lansing area chapter of Safari Club International) sponsored a pheasant hunt for 22 Michigan soldiers. Sixteen of the soldiers have just returned from a tour of duty in Iraq. Six of the soldiers attending the hunt will be deploying to Iraq in Febuary.
The event was held at Dunn Creek Outfitters in Laingsbnurg, Michigan. Thanks go out to Dunn Creek Outfitters, SCI, and the Chapter 467 members who were responsible for the success of this event. We appreciate the sacrafice and devotion to duty shown by the men and women serving in America's armed forces.
